Towpath Fitness: CrossFit Lite is a class for those who want a little bit more conditioning and a little less strength training. This class is designed to get you moving, get you moving well and get you moving with a purpose. You will perform mainly bodyweight movements mixed in with some external implements such as kettle bells, medicine balls and jumping rope. In addition over a 3 month cycle you will perform several benchmark workouts to gauge your improvement.
During your 45 minute class you will be lead by a qualified instructor through a warm up to get your blood moving and prepare you for your workout. Once you’re good and warmed up your instructor will explain that day’s workout and explain any movements you may not be familiar with. If at some point you find a movement you can’t perform, thats okay! We are always prepared with options to help you scale down a movement to something you can perform correctly and safely. Your main workout will last anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes depending on the day and what intensity your coach is looking for that day.
There are no prerequisites to join CrossFit Lite, all we ask is that you meet with one of our coaches one-on-one before committing to the class just so we can get a better idea of who you are and what you hope to accomplish with us.
Cost of CrossFit Lite is $45/month for a month-to-month commitment or Drop In for $10
